Pastoral Ministries exists to serve CCO in very practical ways. From prayer and weddings, to baptisms and memorials, we want to come alongside you and your family. Please see the options below or send an email to Pastor Mike Dobes, mike@calvaryoxnard.org, if you have additional questions

We have an active prayer team ready to pray for you. Please give us a short description of the need, and remember to give us an update as God moves in the situation, so we can continue to minister effectively.

At CCO, we believe that baptism is one of the two ordinances established by Jesus Christ for the Church. We believe in baptism by immersion and expect that those requesting baptism understand the spiritual truth that water baptism expresses. As such, water baptism is typically reserved for individuals no younger than about 8 years of age. For children interested in baptism, our children's ministry holds classes leading up to scheduled water baptisms to ensure a proper understanding.

Baptisms typically take place three times each year - January, May and September. Please contact Pastor Mike (or Bernadette Borcena regarding children's baptisms) for more information.

In most cases, we require pre–marriage counseling for marriages performed by the CCO pastors.
